Club Description

Newman Youth Sports Camp is a multi-sport camp, based in the heart of Stoney Creek, which provides boys and girls, between the ages of 4-14, the opportunity to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Our camp philosophy is centred on the achievement of 3 basic goals .... physical, social and emotional growth. We believe that providing campers with the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities facilitates the development of fundamental movement skills and a healthy respect for active living. We also believe that it is very important for our campers to have the opportunity to meet new people. Our camp is structure around a team building concept which ensures that campers of all ages have the opportunity to make new friends and play with campers of varying levels of ability. Our camp is firmly committed to the principle of respect for ‘self’ and ‘others’. The golden rule at our camp is .... treat all campers as you wish to be treated. Through the positive role modelling of our camp counsellors and encouraging all of our campers to be respectful, we strive to make every camper feel important and leave each day with a big smile on their face!

Newman Youth Sports Camp is proud to bring another summer of camping to the youth of Stoney Creek and surrounding communities.  The camp will run during the weeks of July 2-6 and July 9-13 at Cardinal Newman C.S.S..  In each of the last 8 years, campers have had a blast participating in the numerous indoor and outdoor activities we offer.  This year's camp will offer even more opportunities for fun and promises to be the best yet!  We encourage all prospective campers to register early to ensure a spot in this year's camp.  Camp registration forms can be downloaded from our website.
