2010 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships PDF Print E-mail

2010 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships and the 2010 BMO Skate Canada Junior Nationals were held in London, ON last week. 

Bryce Davison, who represents the Hamilton SC, with pair partner Jessica Dubé successfully defended as Gold medalists in Senior Pairs and have been selected to represent Canada at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, BC next month.

In the Senior Women’s category, Rylie McCulloch-Casarsa from the Burlington Skating Centre placed 9th with a total score of 119.75.  Kristy Bell, also from the Burlington Skating Centre, placed 14th with a total score of 109.57        

Andrew Doleman, representing the Wentworth SC with dance partner Abby Carswell, earned a Bronze medal in the Junior Dance category at the 2010 BMO Skate Canada Junior Nationals with a total score of 143.12.  They were also recipients of a BMO Possibilities Award for their three solid performances in all three areas of the competition and their second place performance in the free dance in which they created a wonderful overall impression.

 
Aveline Pearson,
representing the Hamilton SC with pairs partner Alexander Sheldrick, placed 4th with a total score of 94.73.

 

In Novice Women Mackenzie Haining, representing the Burlington SC, placed 11th with a total score of 81.56.

In Junior Women Elizabeth Liao, representing the Burlington SC, placed 12th with a total score of 91.99.
