Distinguished Canadian Olympic athletes join our local amateur sport heroes as the City of Hamilton celebrates Canada’s international athletic achievements and recognizes the significant contribution of community sports volunteers at the 24th Annual Sport Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, on Thursday, May 6 at the Hamilton Convention Centre.

Special guests Olympic snowboarder Brad Martin of Ancaster and Olympic women’s hockey gold medalist, Becky Kellar of Hagersville join keynote speaker, Clara Hughes to welcome the Olympic torch back to the city.
